"Absoluty loved this place. Polite and helpful staff. We had a fantastic view from the balcony - we were on the 4th floor. Room was clean, bathroom / shower were brilliant. "This was my second stay at Hotel Mar Blau. If your looking for a no frills, great value stay in a fantastic location then you will love this hotel. Right on the beach, very friendly staff and situated in the old town with easy access to both beaches, tapas alley etc.. Took me about 30 mins to walk to the lively brit bar end, but there is a taxi rank a min walk from hotel if needed. For the price, if you don't need a pool etc, then you really can't beat this hotel..... Excellent!!!"

"I really enjoyed my one night stay at the hotel. The check in was quick, the wifi was good and the area, whilst not in the centre, was within walking distance of all the popular places. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony. I didn’t get an opportunity to use the facilities but the pool looked ok. The included buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. The only criticism was that the cooked food was cold. I don’t understand why the can’t keep the food in a container??"
