I really truly wanted to love this hotel because of its design but it was very lacking. First, my room was not clean when I checked in the first night. There were large food crumbs on the floor and the room furniture. The decorations in the room had Burlington tags with prices still on them. The carpet and chair in the room were dirty. The blanket on the bed stank and had stains on it, as if it hadn't been washed. There were 2 LIVE baby lizards in the room, and a cobweb on the light fixture. There was also no water pressure OR HOT WATER in the shower. Honestly, it seems as if they have no cleaning staff, and if they do, they just don't really care to clean properly. While the decorations of the overall hotel are nice, because of the whole POP ART aspect to it, the hotel is grimey. They do have several food options which we enjoyed. Also, the hotel staff was very kind. After checking in, I asked the front desk employee to call me if any rooms opened up for the following day/night (4th of July). I was called at midnight by one of the staff, who had been made aware of my request and told me a room had opened up and if I wanted to pay a discounted fare, I could book it on Expedia again (like I did my first night). My only problem with the staff was with their lack of communication, when an employee opened my door telling me it was time to check out when I had booked the room for a 2nd night.
