The stay was nice. The staff were efficient and very friendly. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are roomy and well ventilated very comfortable. However the water pressure in the shower is very low and the hotel is not friendly to physically challenged people.
Very friendly accommodating staff, able to assist with all my request.

An absolute gem of a property. A beautiful restoration. Wonderful welcoming staff. Simple well designed and supremely comfortable bedroom. Everything very well thought out. Best continental breakfast I can remember in a hotel. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Maison Victoire is one of the most charming hotels I have ever seen. The attention to detail in the decor, the attentiveness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast all contribute to making this the best choice in Pointe a Pietre. Lucille could not have been more helpful. With an engaging presence and a quick smile and laugh, not to mention excellent English, she is a perfect person for her job. Additionally Lydie was also immensely helpful. We appreciated her kind spirit and efforts to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. What an amazing place!!

I loved the staff Naomi & Perle were excellent . The area is noisy; loud cars& motorcycle noise all night. If you like a tub bath , then this is excellent, but there was no shower. The room was described online to have a King size bed and a twin futon for the convenience of the two travellers…,, there was no twin futon.
The building has old charm. Breakfast was good.
I was told it was the only hotel in Pointe a Pitre , which must account for why it is overpriced.
The staff is very friendly and attentive and the decor is top notch. Would recommend to anyone seeking a taste of the city and wanting a charming comfortable home base.
Breakfast and service was excellent. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Downside is that it was a bit noisy at all hours, given the location. It is a somewhat rough area, but this is a diamond in the rough and there are signs of redevelopment in the area. Perfect spot for the tail end of a visit to Guadeloupe, as it is proximate to the airport (11 minute drive). We would go back.

The hotel was charming. There was no Futon couch was small to sleep on. Very disappointed. Bathroom had a tub and no shower curtain. Found roach on counter in lobby where food is left out over night

This is a 100 year old house or combination of houses that has been configured into a “Boutique Hotel” in my opinion it is a little expensive for what it is or purports to be. First off all down down Point a Pitre isn’t exactly a tourist attraction, granted it was August but there were only two restaurants, we went to the Yacht Club which was ho hum and a walk through a bunch of dark streets, if you aren’t comfortable with that kind of vibe then perhaps tryi something closer although we did not see anything open during our walk on a Wednesday night at 20:00 i was with my 8 yr old son but we live in the Caribbean so it is fine, we saw a Bokit spot around the center square which looked much more lively and fun. The hotel has no elevator so if you are on the second floor and brought your luggage from summer travels you are in for a nice workout. The air conditioning in the room is positioned over the couch not effective for the bed on the other side of the room, a fan over the bed would have been fine, the room has now glass widows to keep the AC inside so it all escapes via the wood shutters not very cool and was not on prior to our arrival to cool the room in advance which would have been nice as it is hot and humid now. The bathroom is like it was 50 or more years ago which i appreciate the style but loose floor tiles dont make sense and an iron tub where i have to sit down to use the shower handle or take a bath is not my favorite, but yes it is a period piece .
