"Unique, quirky, ancient building. Excellent restaurant (not open in August). Comfortable and relaxing. The only improvement one could wish for is a kettle in the room and minimal tea/coffee amenities, but that's not typical of traditional Italian hotels. In any case, the continental buffet is great and included in the rate."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room and renovated bathroom. Good breakfast with several choices from meat, eggs, cheese, pastries, cereals and yogurt. The carpet in the halls could be replaced and the staff could be friendly and greet their guests as they come and go to make them feel more welcome. Otherwise nice stay."
