(I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.) The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10. L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc.」

「We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend. 」
