"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. She had lots of recommendations of things to do in the area and made sure we had vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast. "The villa was breath taking! We were there for one night and we wished we could come back for so many more! Honestly anyone who could have a wedding there should think about it! The pool overlooking the countryside was one of the best views I’ve ever had. The massage was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful. And the restaurant courtyard was magical. We had a beautiful dinner under the twinkle lights and the food and wine selections were lovely. The staff helped us so much when our cab was late to get us to the train. The front desk staff was on the phone with the cab company ensuring if we missed our train the cab would take us to Siena (90 minutes away!) free of charge! Honestly this was a hotel with staff who took immense pride in their level of customer service. I will rave about this place for years to come. And next time I come it will be a couples trip where we can relax and enjoy the grounds even more!"

"Excellent stay outside of Orvieto (about 15 min drive from the village). The pool was awesome. The room was large and beautifully decorated and air conditioned. It was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend for a quiet stay outside of the village."

"Breakfast looks just like the pictures associated w/ the hotel. It's just an amazing sight. It's hard to choose your meal with this abundance of options. Additionally staff were helpful w/ bus tickets and information. "Old town" is quite a ways up the hill and worth every step. Pleasant gardens are also nearby."
