「A truly unique experience, it felt like we were staying at a friend’s place rather than at a hotel. Very homey and our room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was charming, with delicious food and we even had a group of excellent musicians with authentic Greek dancers in costume. Anther bonus - it was a 15 minu LP te drive to the airport. 「Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. 」

「Upon arrival we had a few issues with the property, but the owner sorted these for us straight away. The villa was amazing! Clean and bright with great outdoor space. The pool was perfect, as was the view. 'Martin' the visiting cat was a welcome guest! Highly recommend this place for a stay!」
