"We had reserved and paid for two rooms for two nights at this Hampton Inn about a month previously. When we arrived, the desk agent had trouble finding our reservations because the computer system was down. One was for a party who would be coming separately who later decided to stay elsewhere but came for the second night. Check in was slow, but we eventually got our rooms. The TV in our room curiously welcomed an unknown “Matthew,” but we ignored it. Later in the evening, around 10 pm. ...

"The property smelled dank. Our room was dirty, we had to use wet wipes wherever we wanted to place things and left the floor alone as it was lamenent (too big a job to clean). The toilet did not flush properly and the shower was quite rustic. No hooks in the bathroom to hang things on. No chair and no suitcase stand. The one pop machine they have doesn't work and the ice machine is right next to the front desk ( I presume to watch how much ice people take). I would recommend this hotel as a last...
