"I had a great stay at Hotel Amalfi! The location was perfect—central and safe, which made it easy to explore La Paz on foot. The room was a good size, comfortable, and very clean, making for a relaxing stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, always ready with tips or a smile. "Hotel Palmas del Sol is my favorite in/near the historical center. There are many things I like to do around there, exchanging money, going to the barber, the gym is almost nearby I have some social connections in the area. Otherwise I wouln't go to this area again. The breakfast is good, I like the staff. And the value for the money is a really good deal."

"Delightful lobby, breakfast buffet, staff, and rooftop pool, especially. The rest of the property is average at best. If you are staying in the old center of Asunción, the combination seemed right for the price, and area, and I have no regrets about the choice, overall."

"Central location which served as great base to explore city. Great facilities on offer with varied breakfast and very helpful staff throughout hotel. We had a few issues with maintenance during our stay but these were resolved in a very timely manner. A little upgrading possibly required as some furnishings a little tired however this did not detract from our stay and we’d definitely recommend. "
