「Stayed in the Townhouse suite and it was absolutely amazing! So comfy and beautiful and they restocked snacks and water for me daily. The food at the resort was so good and I felt very taken care of and safe here. They even decorated the place for my husbands birthday! 10/10 service. The butlers went above and beyond.」

「Air condition in rooms but not main room but with bedroom doors open you could cool the main area. Friendly staff, Full size refrigerator, kitchen stocked well.」

「We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?」

「We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. David, the Manager, was WONDERFUL with communication and photos showing us where to park, how to gain entrance and get to our rooms...

「Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. 」
