「Five stars all the way. Villas Rio Mar has an amazing location — close to Dominical but outside the hustle, peaceful and relaxing. Just minutes from the beach, with a beautiful river nearby. The property is gorgeous, the pools are great, the rooms are beautiful, and everything was clean and well maintained. The restaurant was fantastic and the service was excellent. 「I had an amazing stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the two toucans that visited us in the morning. They were flying around, perching on the trees, and watching us while we relaxed on the terrace. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway! 」

「Easy access, super clean, excellent room design. Chefs were outstanding. Made boring food taste good and they should be proud of their work. Nice views and cool built in hammock. Cons: main pool is not that big and the other guests chairs are literally just beside it a foot away. 」

「The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...
