Loved our stay here, the place is beautiful, lots of different food. The beach has lots of seaweed but the hotel had people cleaning it up. The beach was nice but it is very rocky, definitely recommend water shoes!

Absolutely phenomenal stay! This resort is truly stunning—beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and spotless from top to bottom. Every detail feels luxurious and well cared for. Loved the resort and especially the rooms but didn't like that half of the resort was under construction. We had a hard time getting reservations for the restaurants as well as it appeared there were too many people at the resort for the number of restaurants available.

The room was great, staff were amazing. There was one issue in that I was not informed of the construction. I had initially booked at the Princess Riviera, so I was concerned when we arrived at a different resort. The resort itself didn’t have as much to offer because of the construction.

Our room was great, and most of the staff were wonderful. However, our experience with security and concierge was very disappointing and did not reflect the level of service we expected from a well-known resort. My husband fell down the stairs during our stay, and instead of approaching him to ensure he was okay, staff members shouted from a distance asking if he was fine. No one came over to properly assist or check on him. It felt dismissive and uncaring. In that moment, we truly felt unsupported. I can’t help but feel that if my husband were not Hispanic, the response may have been different. Additionally, I found a cockroach in my beach towel. When I reported the issue (room 3202), the response was minimal. There were no sincere apologies, no follow-up, and no effort to check on us afterward while we were at the beach. We expected more concern and proactive service given the situation. We were also part of a large group, and unfortunately, the concierge team seemed very uninterested in assisting us. Instead of helping coordinate or answer our questions, they directed us to wedding planning. Thankfully, we later encountered a supervisor who was extremely helpful, flexible, and genuinely eager to assist us. That experience was very pleasant and made a positive difference in our stay. Overall, while parts of our stay were enjoyable, these incidents left us feeling undervalued and disappointed.

Hotel refused to refund day that was missed by flight delays. Mini bar not stocked after first day. 1 bathroom works in middle of long walking resort. Construction noise 100% of the time starting at 8am. No good direction on services Concierge unable to book Asked for special occasion only to tryto sell packages on but we recieved no benefit No elevator except at front Package stated free spa day. Which was 20 minute foot massage. Got rebooked to sister hotel after booking went through due to construction no discount. Over priced everything. 40$ for 6 pills to help with travelers diarea Ice gave travelers diarea.

We traveled with 7 people ages 8 months - 46 years old. We had 2 deluxe rooms that connected to each other. We initially booked with Riviera but was relocated to Sunset because of construction on 1/2 the resort. Had option of 4 pools and beach for swimming including one kids pool and water slides. Food in buffet was average and we didn't eat at many of the restaurants

*BEWARE All inclusive does not mean all inclusive, expect to be nickel and dimes upon check in and up charged another 30% for amenities that were already included in the booking according to Expedia. Not to mention booking on Expedia and getting an email the next day saying they’re moving you to their sister resort. Very misleading on the initial booking. Spend your money at a more reputable, honest resort. Absolutely not worth the premium price tag (after all the upcharging). Very disappointing!

So much under renovation during the stay and we werent informed until after booking. A lot of amenities not available during the stay including the beach front restaurant and pool side snack bar

Funny story, I was offered spa treatment by someone there and it ended up being a sales pitch to something else. And it turned into a stressful vacation. I won’t recommend this place. I did like the resort but this sales people need to learn boundaries. Still didn’t get my 650.0 deposit back. Which I will have the credit card company handle. Thanks !

Very clean recently renovated room. Consistently courteous friendly staff. Food at the a la carte restaurants and the buffets (especially the smaller buffet restaurant near the beach) was consistently very good. Lots of chairs at beach and pool. The resort made a big effort to clean up the beach of seaweed- there wasn’t much this time of year but they had staff raking it up every day. Overall the entire resort was very well maintained with lovely mature landscaping.
