「There is a lot to share about our experience. Our family of four booked this hotel for three nights to relax after some earlier adventures. Unfortunately we got some pretty terrible weather. We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything.」

「We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again.」

「Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...
