This is an older hotel, can’t expect much. I’ve stayed here a few times. The incidental fee is $100. The rooms are spacious however the beds are very firm. Never had an issue with the showers. The pillows are very soft and the AC is cold.

It's a roadside motel, so if you're expecting pristine and beautiful, this is not the stay for you. Rooms looked clean (couch had a small stain or two), highway is hardly audible and check in was fine, though make sure you've got the right card you booked with. Expedia didn't have the reservation in my name, but that was sorted with the reservation number. Can't speak on the breakfast as I didn't try it.

This hotel needs a lot of updating to its decor. Despite that, the beds were comfort and the pillows were great. Great place for an overnight stay in your travel.

The Gentleman at the desk when we checked in was very friendly and accommodating. We requested a late check in and he was very good about it. The hotel has a smell and the room was quite dirty. The bathroom door knob had blood on it (I have a picture). This place is fine for a short overnight stay.

Positives: Staff was very helpful and responsive once you could find them, location was optimal for viewing the 2024 solar eclipse totality. Negatives: Flaking paint and food cooked onto the inside of the microwave, shower curtain a little slimy, very limited breakfast options, broken vending machines, all of the outlets in the room were inexplicably loose causing A/C plugs to just fall out.

July 8, 2024 outside is filthy, clean the glass on the entrance door, Summer in the Lake City, $ was decent but not a great value for what it is. Comfortable bed , TV worked, It was hot weather and the air conditioning was good, The door to my room would not fully close enough to lock on its own. !

Our room.was fine but my daughters didn't have a tv remote and it took 90 minutes to get one. The service is poor and the breakfast subpar. My husband tried the coffee and spit it out. The juice machine was not working. But the rooms were clean and comfortable

This hotel deserves a better rep.

I saw a lot of negative reviews and was pleasantly surprised at how erroneous they were. Everything was clean and orderly. The desk clerk was polite, albeit a little deficient in English and clearly overworked. The cleaning staff was top-notch. The bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The only problem I noticed was a loose bathroom sink fixture. I reached underneath and tightened the bolt by hand. Problem solved. I have been to many interstate-adjacent hotels. This one rates among them as average, to be expected. But, well accommodating, no less. It was a good stay.

It was a decent hotel. It was a nice quiet area, the beds were comfortable, the staff was pleasant. Also the prices were very fair also a nice walk to Plattsburgh beach which is not far. The hotel can improve on the quality of the breakfast. There was not a lot of healthy food available such as fruits, and the selection was not a variety. The pool was ice cold there was no heat in the pool. For those who do like to swim I would suggest management to take the time and heat the pool to a decent temperature. I was out for the day and when I arrived back during the evening my room was not clean. If you are looking just for a quiet place just to sleep and if you are not picky about food selection, then I think this place would be good for that type of stay. I feel the hotel would suitable for sure it totally depends on one’s needs at the stay. This place would work for some as well as not for others.

The hotel is close to Plattsburgh City Beach, Dollar General, some restaurants and a bowling alley. The AC, fridge, and microwave are still working, but I feel I was in the 80s using the AC and fridge. The microwave buttons for the timer are acting up (some buttons are working, some are "disabled"). The room did not have a personal coffee machine; instead, there were 6 packs of coffee creamers, sugars and sticks. This place will be my last resort if there are no options available. I hope the management will make some improvements...
