"I love everything except for when you walked into the lobby it has an water mildew smell like a possible leakage that's smelling like mold and mildew. Other than that I enjoyed my room itself. "

"Very elegant hotel built in 1892. Clean room with comfortable bed. Beautiful interior. Downtown close to shopping. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant . The service and food was outstanding and the price was reasonable . Beautiful and elegrant dining . "

"I enjoyed the staff and they were friendly and helpful. My first night was awesome. My second night there were rude people outside making noise had to call the desk to have them take care of it which is no bad reflection of your hotel there are just some people who shouldn’t be allowed out in public. My only complaint was your pool area really needs works the hand rail by the steps isn’t even safe it pulls right out of the cement. As for around the area trash needed to be done more often and house keeping left a huge bad of dirty something right outside my door with an empty ice bucket."

"Convenient"

"Although this place stated they were renovated, I found this to be misleading. The toilet was new, and the tile looked like us was installed by unskilled workers. The shower curtain rod and grab bars were stained and peeling. The walls were dirty, the bedspread was stained, furniture was worn, scratched. We slept in our clothes and coats on top of the bedspread bc we just felt things were not clean. The nightstand lamp did not work. Non of the usb outlets works in any lamp. The microwave oven was dirty. Worst was the door to the room did not have a secondary lock for security. They had been broken off. We jammed the one chair provided against the door. They required full payment upfront (2nights). The fine print stated that once the check in paper was signed, no refunds were allowed, so we were stuck. The motel seemed to house those who were otherwise homeless. Personal chairs outside doors and a BBQ was on a balcony. The “lobby” was always locked and I had to make a call to have someone check me in. This is NOT the quality of motel I expected to find on Hotels.com."
