「We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. 「Such an amazing hotel, room was cosy and modern, staff were very helpful, had a lovely bar and in a brilliant location」

「Elegant hotel very near the beach. Each floor decorated with a different historic travel theme: India/Taj Mahal, cruise ship crossing, train excursion, air travel. Staff excellent; there was a power outage while we were there and they all coped and helped all of us deal with its effects.」

「A beautiful property and very helpful and friendly hosts. Our stay here was great. The rooms were comfortable and large based on our experiences with other hotels. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made you feel like you were visiting family. Very well located as well. Despite all these good things the highlight for us was the surprise from Jean at breakfast. And it had nothing to d with the great food. 」

「The staff was helpful in solving the issue while the event in the old city forbids any taxi coming in to pick us up. She was resourceful in getting an electric bike and get our luggage and then ourselves to the train station.」

「The hotel is 5 minutes walk to a great beach and 5minutes drive to the old town. It is quiet and comfortable, very cosy family-runned maison. The manager is a vey nice person. He recommand us to see great beach and try nice local restraunts」

「The hotel was in a great location and the staff were lovely, really helpful and lots of great recommendations for food. The breakfast was also great. It’s really good value given its central location, we had a triple room which wasn’t massive but spacious enough - would definitely recommend and will return on our next visit. 」
