「Good location, clean and quiet」

「This is the second time I live here. This time my room is next to an alley that you can hear people talking outside. It is a bit noisy compare to my first stay. The good side is the room and bathroom are still clean. A nice place to stay with a resonable price.」

「The service of the lady at the Check-in counter was disappointing. She gave us an accessible room which we didn't ask for. As we only stay one night, we didn't request for a change of room and tolerated it.」

「Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. 「While I appreciate Edinburgh was busy due to a big music concert, the marathon and it being a English Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel were clearly charging a premium which wasn't deserved! 「Children allowed in the bar area in the evening, unlike many pubs. Room was clean and modern, but musty smelling, and the lack of shower closure means water gets on the floor of the washroom. The heating/cooling system made incessant clicking noise when turned on, no matter what temp setting, so we avoided having it on overnight, because it would have kept us from sleeping.」
