The suite/apartment is very big and furnished in grand style. Easy to see that it was a luxury 5 star hotel back in the day. The lobby area leads to spacious bedroom with lovely big double beds, huge tv, and generous balcony with furniture (ours overlooked the street/another hotel but it was fine and very private), bathroom with walk in shower, jacuzzi bath and patio doors also leading to the balcony which can be opened, separate WC. There is also a walk in closet which was a pleasant surprise. The bedroom also leads to a separate office/bar/kitchenette area. As it is so near the beach we only used the hotel pool once. It was clean and nice to swim in.
The downsides were the numerous broken plug sockets in the room, some of which did not look safe. I think this would be a hazard if staying with young children. The balcony furniture is in desperate need of replacing, or at least re-covering the cushions. The carpet was ok but would be more hygienic if tiled.
I would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind not everything being perfect, especially because of its location. It will be amazing with a bit of investment to restore it to its former glory. "
