On our arrival on July 10, at 8 o’clock at night, no one was at the Checkin desk. We have to wait quite a few minutes. When the check agent finally arrived, I mentioned that it was our 25th anniversary and that we would love to have a quiet room over in the ocean. I also asked if we could check in a little later. The response was very rude, saying that the checkout was at 11 AM And that after that there was a $30 charge.
We weren’t able to sleep at all as the room was very noisy. The ceiling was vibrating because the guest up above decided to have wild sex a night and walk very fast back-and-forth the room, I don’t know if they were changing each other. The guest next to us chose to listen to the TV at a very high volume.
The room had a partial ocean view, blocked by a bunch of people barbecuing until late and making a lot of noise. The main entrance door to the room was facing the parking lot, with cars parking in and out all night long. In the morning, around 6 AM, a huge pick up truck engine with the exhaust pipe, pointing at our entrance door, woke me up, after I was finally able to fall asleep around 5 AM. Horrible, horrible experience. I guess if you have a bunch of kids and adults acting like them, who don’t need any sleep at night, this is the place for you.
