"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Had an absolutely amazing time. The room was clean and the shower was good. plenty of instant hot water. The staff were really friendly and in the heatwave our rooms were nice and cool. If you're looking for room service it is not that kind of establishment but for clean, simple, natural fun on the beach, this was truly wonderful. thank you!"

"I specifically booked this hotel as on the website the restaurant showed that the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening and served lovely fish. I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. Not much space to put anything and a bigger or another couple of towels would be an improvement. Staff were friendly and helpful and with their limited English and my limited French, we sorted everything!!"
