"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. "Well. A very new motel style hotel. Nice staff. Really good breakfast. Great room, great bathroom. But, it is in the middle of no-where. In the middle of a rice paddy to be precise. Which I could admire from my balcony. Plus was it was very quiet. I was riding round Taiwan. I guess the location would not be a problem if I had a car. The location made it a little hard to find too. There is a convenience store about 200m away."

"My parents and I had the most wonderful stay at Fleur de Chine. My father got into an accident while we were in Sun Moon Lake, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had help in every way possible - from arranging transportation for us to/from the hospital, to checking in on us even after we checked out. I was speechless by the level of kindness. Furthermore, the rooms with the lake view were better than I even imagined. Thank you, Fleur de Chine staff! I will certainly be back again. "
