"Fantastic location in the heart of the walled city with easy walkable access to most of the local attractions. It was an oasis hidden away in the mad rush of an old city - the hotel tuk tuk was always ready to pick you up and drop you off from the narrow street confines of the haveli to the buzzing bazaars of Jaipur. You walk in and to your absolute delight, you are transported to centuries old traditions and atmosphere of a central courtyard surrounded by living quarters. The 15-room property has impeccable accommodations with luxuries of Kama products and fine bedding. The food was top notch - a vegetarians paradise with multiple options to choose from. Would def recommend the Rajasthani thali if you are ready to explore the traditional food! The mukhwaas drink prepared by the bartender was amazing and so was the live music played by Sharukh and Ishaan. Being a classical music aficionado myself, I was able to connect to the artists and the music instantly. If the weather wasn’t playing hide and seek, I would have definitely spent more time on the luxurious rooftop where you can order drinks from the bar as well as get food sent up from the kitchen. The Chandani area was a cute surprise to explore the moonlight. Finally, the staff went over and beyond - they displayed first class hospitality. I was traveling with my elderly dad and they were highly accommodative with an early check in and a late check out to give him time to relax and recuperate. "

"There were several major issues during our stay at this hotel. Food hygiene: Throughout our three-day stay, the breakfast area was overrun with flies. They were landing on food en mass and staying there, especially on the uncovered breads and pastries. After observing for nearly an hour, one staff member told another to “zap” the flies. No effort was made to replace or cover the contaminated food. This was extremely unhygienic and unappetizing. Food quality: We had dinner at the hotel on our first night. Compared to other places like the Taj and Oberoi, the food here was mediocre, especially considering the comparable price. I would strongly recommend exploring other dining options. Lack of flexibility and poor customer service: When our flights were cancelled due to the war, every other hotel we had booked in India — including Taj and Oberoi — offered refunds without issue. This hotel did not. They ignored our initial requests, then dragged out the process, wasting hours of our time. It became clear that they prioritized money over basic fairness or guest care. Because of this, we had to scramble to rebook flights so we wouldn’t lose the money spent on this reservation. I had assumed a smaller boutique hotel might be more understanding in difficult circumstances, but that was not the case here. Facilities: The swimming pool is extremely shallow — too shallow for our six-year-old to enjoy. Additionally, the pool area was full of mosquitos. Overall, I would stay away."
