「This was a very unexpected and wonderful experience. The location is in a very small town. Make sure you use google maps or you might go to the wrong location. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. The husband is a chef and will cook you an amazing dinner and they have wonderful wines from their vineyard. The vineyard is operated by their twin daughters and it is a great story. If you are in the area this is definitely the place you want to stay. 」

「The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too!
Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun!

「Its a great experience living in the barrel.
Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.」

「The room was stunning, very clean, modern. Just amazing!! Breakfast was very good. A nice selection. No words can describe the staff and their kindness. Their kindness and helpfulness made our stay so special. When we left it was like we left our family. I only hope that we are able to return」
