"The hotel is in an unbeatable location. The room was very nice, although the air conditioning unit’s mounting bracket could use some fixing. The bathroom was fine. The highlights were the wonderful woman who runs the place and the hotel’s charming, traditional style, which has been very well maintained. The street it’s on is fantastic, and this town was my favourite of the 15 places I visited during my trip to China."

Free Pickup and drop off from train station was a nice service with courteous attention. Overall well run hotel and well appointed. Parting gift of intricately paper cut motifs.’"

There’s just enough for basic checking in etc although written messages pre check in were very useful. A driver was arranged for me to pick up and drop off at station at a cost of CNY30 each way."

Lovely experience, we were very happy and impressed with it"
