"When we arrived at the Copper and Lumber store they had double booked our room for 2 or the 5 nights. When we explained we hadn't heard from neither them or expedia and in fact had a check in reminder they offered nothing advising we had to find alternate accommodation. We spent over 5+ hours going between the hotel and expedia as neither party wanted to take ownership/payment of any new accomodation options for us even though they had the $2500 from my existing reservation. This hotel does not care and if you are traveling alone please be warned you could be on an island alone without accommodation so please have a back up plan. Also good to note their fish fry Friday they speak of on the website is subpar and served cold! By far one of the worst travel experiences I have had."

"We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay! We knew from reviews that it would be basic, and were disappointed to find on arrival that the only amenities it DOES have - the spa and the gym - were both out of use. Despite this, we loved our stay. We aren't too fussed by hotels, as we prefer to be up and out, so just need a clean place to stay. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a generously sized bathroom and large bed, which was firm (something we prefer.) The pillows were rock hard, however, so we couldn't use these. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and although the surrounding area is vibrant/noisy, we found the resort to largely be peaceful and tranquil. There is a brilliant tea station in the courtyard (a must for us Brits!) as well as a water machine, which was so useful for refilling our bottles. The negatives would be that the walls are paper thin, or at least in our part of the resort, and we could hear our neighbours often. Additionally, the area is VERY noisy at night, and you will need good earplugs if you're to get any sleep. I am a light sleeper and was anxious about the live music across the road, but we bought silicone earplugs and I slept like a baby every night! Just make sure you're prepared, and you'll be fine. We would 100% stay again. There are lots of local food options, a supermarket, car rentals, Pigeon Point beach and Nelson's Dockyard are only 10 minute walks away! A perfect, affordable base for exploring English Harbour! "

"The rooms are in the perfect location, well presented with key essentials and the manager very professional and accommodating after expedia double booked us at our first hotel the Galleon beach did not hesitate to allow us to check in earlier to ensure we weren't left without accommodation. "

"Good location. A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style home. The vibe is simple, friendly and homely rather than high end polished veneer and we loved it’s slightly quirky rustic charm. "

"We stayed in a very clean and quaint one bedroom, #12 which is upstairs. Met a few others there who were very nice. Two bottles of cold water, one of wine with flowers to greet us. All you would need to prepare heated meals, very nice refrigerator and everything any hotel provides, all done very nicely. Security is provided with fence and electronic gate opener. Finding Neem was just a tad difficult but once on the dirt road off main it was marked with signs. The location was on a hillside and not on a beach but beaches are nearby and this location was Close to many sites including Falmouth Bay, Nelson’s Dockyard and not far from Shirley Heights. My wife and I enjoyed our stay "

"The apartment was lovely. They must buy new cookware as the pots and pans were from the 60's and should not be used. The shower curtain was 4 inches to short to water leaks all over the floor. There is a Constant poop smell coming from the toilet. Needs addressing. Apart from that everything was perfect. "

"This is an affordable, comfortable option for a stay near English and Falmouth Harbors in Antigua. It works best for people who have other connections on the island like the Sailing Regatta. It is not a destination itself with the amenities of a resort."
