I must credit @AnneArchambault for this post. She was the one originally that had the eye for this shot. When I saw it, I couldn’t help but try to recreate it for myself, with my own interpretation. I believe I took this shot a little further out than Anne did (as I took it from the second corner of the pier, instead of the first. I just love the colors that reflect off of the water here. It does appear that there have been some changes to the pier since Anne shot her photo. I noticed that the “Wings Over Washington must be fairly new as it wasn’t in her shot as well as the chairs seem to have changed. I actually prefer the chairs in her shot to mine, but these metal ones had to do for mine. I also notice that the colors of the Ferris Wheel on the night Anne shot her photo had greens and yellows where mine was just blue and pink. I do like the colors of the Ferris Wheel on Anne's photo better Overall, great place to visit. My wife and I got in line for the Ferris Wheel and the views are fantastic. Housekeeping needs to deliver items more quickly. Room service for food was great and the food was so good! Parking for guests needs to be free or refunded the parking garage fee!! I will be back in the future!
