「The best stay we had on our trip. The staff was incredible sweet and accommodating. Daniela gave us many recommendations for things to do and we even ran into her on the beach and she told us where to go snorkelling to see the bubbles from the ground. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooftop terrace was also a very nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.」

「We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. 」

The location was ideal and walkable to both ports which were so lovely and full of locals and people from all over. 「The grounds were beautiful. It is not walkable outside of the hotel so you need to take a bus or get a cab if you do not have a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only big issue were the rooms. Ours was very moldy, even the mattresses had mold on them. 」
