Book Coral bay

Book ikke dette sted, mere kan jeg ikke sige, vi fik hotels.com til at ændre til Coral bay som ligger vedsiden af, det er 100 gange bedre og kan kun anbefales, hvis man bare kan undgå de svenske charter turister der tager alle liggestole ved stranden, de er oppe kl 07:00 og lægger deres håndklæder og kommer tilbage for at bruge dem efter 9-10 stykker, så går de til frokost kl 12 og er tilbage igen efter 14 så de bruger dem ikke rigtig til andet en at ligge deres ting,

Bra läge och enkla rum

Rummen var inte så fräscha, men läget var fantastiskt och personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående, trots att många hade svårt med engelskan.

Vi bodde i ett av rummen vid stranden vilka var i det enklaste slaget. Mycket slitna rum som inte är värda sitt pris. Typ en hotell-stjärna. Fördelen var att det var tyst och låg direkt på stranden med ac. Trevlig personal.

Super fantastisk ophold på Phu Quoc

+ Fantatsisk beliggenhed - vi havde hytte nr. 20 lige ned til stranden. Smuk udsigt. Personalet er utrolig søde, flittige og venlige og virker som om de har det sjovt sammen. De har ikke helt styr på regningerne, men det lidt charmerende. - Sengene er mege hårde og hytterne er noget slidte. Brusevandet er meget længe om blive varmt.

I feel bad saying anything negative about this Resort because everyone who worked there were amazing. The grounds of this facility were amazing. All the vegetation was beautiful and its right on the beach.... but the rooms well the Bungalow, I should say, that's where we stayed were very basic . The mattress and the pillows were both hard. The walls looked like they had black mold all over them, ugh. There were no shelves to put any of your stuff in the bathroom and one armoire to put any clothing.

DONT STAY HERE

Unfortunately not a pleasant stay. This started with them moving me rooms then not telling me i had to pay an extra $12 a night. Heaps of mosquitoes plus a mouse living in my room.

Einfache Doppelzimmer nicht empfehlenswert

Wir sind nun bereits eine Woche in Vietnam unterwegs und können Vergleiche anstellen. Unser Zimmer befand sich in Form kleiner Hütten inmitten vieler anderer. Keine Klimaanlage, das wussten wir vorher. Nur ist das Badezimmer angrenzend mit offener Decke gewesen. Sprich, wenn man geduscht hat wurde aus dem ohnehin sehr feuchten, stickigen Raum gefühlt ein türkisches Dampfbad. Aufgrund der Lage des Zimmers weht keinerlei Lüftchen rein. Da konnte auch kein Ventilator irgendetwas ausrichten. Mobiliar zum Teil völlig kaputt. Alles muffte. Im Ernst, ich bin nich anspruchsvoll, aber sauber muss es für mich schon sein. Das ist kein vietnamesischer Standard! Wir waren sowohl in einfachen Zimmern mit Farn, als auch in klimatisierten Räumen. Alles war besser als dieses Zimmer. Die Lage des Resorts ist gut.

Perfect if you want the beach!

Rooms were basic but had all you needed and cleaned well daily with fresh towels and bedding. It is worth paying a little extra for the garden/sea view rooms, which is what we had. Some rooms at the back had a view of the laundry. Beach garden rooms were lovely.

It was great for a beach vacation. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and be right on the beach this is perfect. The staff were really helpful and welcoming and the food at the hotel's restaurant was really good.

Great resort in tourist hub

It was really nice, the staff were really friendly. It was right on the beach which was nice. However there were lots of tourists so if you want a quieter time perhaps go elsewhere, it was fairly noisey in the morning - which didn't bother us but may bother others! Our room had a fan without airconditioning, so for those of you who are apprehensive about this, we were at a comfortable temperature every night.

Hôtel bien placé au confort sommaire

Cet établissement est situé dans un bel endroit qui vaut le détour. Néanmoins, le condort des chambres est très sommaires et ne conviendra pas à tout le monde. L'humidité y est assez pesante et la climatisation ne fonctionne pas très bien. De plus, il a plu dans notre salle de bain. L'hôtel est tout de même très bien situé sur l'île de Phu Quoc. Le Rorys, bar donnant sur la plage, est juste à côté et on peut y passer de superbes moments. L'hôtel met en location des scooters pour 130 000 VND pour la journée. Ceci est très pratique pour faire le tour de l'île si vous n'avez pas peur des chemins en terre après une bonne pluie.

schön gelegene Bungalows mit perfekter Strandlage

Außergewöhnlich schöne gepflegte Gartenanlage, daher sind auch die Bungalows mit Gartenblick zu empfehlen. Direkter Zugang zum feinsandigen flach abfallenden Strand. Es gibt ein paar Steine und Felsen im Wasser, man braucht aberkeine Badeschuhe . Besonders hervorzuheben ist der große schattige Liegebereich mit einfachen Liegestühlen, die immer ausreichend vorhanden sind. Das mitgebuchte Frühstück nimmt man im übernächsten Resort ein, das am einfachsten mit einem Strandspaziergang zu erreichen ist. Die Frühstückportionen sind ziemlich klein. Dafür ist das täglich abends angebotene Seafood-Grillbuffet außergewöhnlich gut, man sitzt sehr stimmungsvoll direkt am Wasser. Die Bungalows selber sind schon etwas älter und nicht moskitodicht, dafür gibt es aber Moskitonetze über dem Bett. Der Bungalow und der Terrassenbereich werden täglich gereinigt sowie Handtücher und Bettlaken ausgetauscht. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Vorzüge dieser sehr personalintensiven Anlage rechtfertigen den Preis im Vergleich zu neueren Anlagen.

Hotel Review

Hotel is on the nicest part of the beach I could find. No restaurant but you can use the sister hotel 100m down the beach. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity directly on the beach. This is not a 5 star resort but if you want value for money in a hotel directly on a beautiful beach you will not be disappointed,

Asuttuamme pari yötä yhdessä rotan kanssa ja jäätyämme kylppärin lukon toimimattomuuden takia lukkojen takse, pyysimme vaihtaa huonetta. Seuraava huone oli hyvä!! Yleensä asumme huoneissa jossa pelkkä tuuletin, mutta näiden huoneiden ilmanvaihto on täysin olematon, eli vauvan kanssa oli otettava AC.

Hard to leave

I suppose this hotel was similar to many beach-side huts, but it was a few steps from a very nice calm and quiet beach, which made for a nice respite from the chaos of everywhere else. Yes, there were a few mosquitoes at night, noises in the roof, a troublesome air conditioner, but we weren't distracted by any of that. The desk staff were lovely and helpful and they had a fleet of scooters at the ready to take us into the main fishing village for spectacular scenery and seafood.

Great time!

Viet thanh resort Good value for your money. Location is pretty much all that we could wish for! Very close to beautiful beach and many restaurants and minimarts close by. You can also buy water, beer and softdrinks from reception at a reasonable price. Staff was absolutely great. Everyone working in the reception did not have very good english skills, but service was always fine besides that. It is true that the resort could do some little improvements to make the place even better (rooms could have more funiture or at least nightstanda/one table more and so on). But I guess they would then charge 20-30 bucks more per night. So if you are looking for a little luxury and don't have a strict budget you might like to look at some of the more expensive resorts along the beach. But if small details don't bother you and you really value your location close to the beach and all the activites and shopping of the nearby village, nice staff and safety this would be a good choice for you. Ps. Mattresses were pretty hard. I am used to (even liking) it and I think that is the case in most of the budget accommodation in SEA. We will definately visit this place again if and when coming back to Phu Quoc island.
