「Loved the resort. My room was just so far back that the walk to anything was too long to be enjoyable. Other than that, I really liked the views」

「The property itself has charm, but a few issues really impacted our stay. Most notably, we found two roaches in our room and they were German cockroaches, not the "palmetto bugs" staff tried to attribute to recent palm tree trimming nearby. To their credit, staff did acknowledge that explanation wasn't really an excuse, but the resolution fell short: we were told housekeeping wouldn't address it until checkout (which was the next day), meaning we had to deal with it for the remainder of our...

「The breakfasts and the late afternoon snacks were fantastic. This is the first time that the paid food was worse than the free food. At Ironwood, it was an hour and 20 minutes to get our food and the quality was sub-par. At Toro service was quicker but quality was lacking for our breakfast. The hotel, its celebration of the fourth, and maid service was fantastic. Room is nice and amazingly quiet. I might stay there again sometime.」
