After a long day of traveling, we showed up at the hotel at 8:50pm, ready for bed. I had pre-booked weeks in advance knowing this would be our stop before going to Philadelphia the next morning. When we arrived, there were a lot of people waiting with their baggage in the lobby, not looking very happy. I waited in a small line of unhappy customers and when I got up to the desk, was given my room keys and was told I was all set. When we got to our room, it hasn’t been cleaned. The pulls out sofa was out, all of the beds were mussed, the bathroom had towels all over the floor. It wasn’t just a few stray hairs here or there, no one had been in this room to clean it since the last people had stayed there. My elderly father, my teenager and I dragged all our stuff back downstairs in hopes of getting another, clean room. We were told it would take an hour to get a room since that was what everyone else in the lobby was there for. In my opinion, it’s just unacceptable. Check in was at 3pm. They knew I was coming and had almost extra 6 hours to have a room cleaned and ready for my arrival. The staff were frazzled and no apologies or discounts were offered for my over an hour wait for a room after an already tiring day. It was well after 10pm when I finally got back to the room that had previously been unclean. It was hard to get over the fact that there might not actually be clean sheets or that the tub was clean because they were rushing to get me a room. The staff eventually apolog
