I booked my reservation a week or so in advance for a closer commute for work this weekend . I arrive with my family around 9p Friday night to find out my booking was canceled due to failure of payment . (I booked under “RESERVE NOW, PAY AT PROPERTY” I have booked with Expedia and booked using the exact same setting for years and I have been booking at other candlewoods in different cities for the past 4 months ; never had this issue . So front desk had to remake my reservation and I was forced to pay $240 (don’t remember exact amount ) and my original booking cost $225. I asked if we could get a late checkout to accommodate the inconvenience, the lady at the desk said it was no problem . The day of checkout we get a knock at the door . I briefly explained the conversation regarding our late check out request . The housekeeper said she didn’t hear anything about it but said fine and walked off. We get another knock at the door and it’s the lady at the front desk explaining that this location doesn’t approve late check out , the room is already booked for the upcoming guest and we need to leave now . I express I have children in the room and will need time to get my family showered and together . She told me if I’m not out by 11a she will charge my card for another night . Her attitude was TERRIBLE! I have never experienced anything like this at a candlewood Our overall stay was amazing per usual at Candlewood !

This was the filthiest hotel stay I’ve had in a very long time. They moved me four times and I still had to sit in the lobby until two am while waiting for the front desk receptionist to clean my bathroom. Simply disgusting.

Rooms were clean, the beds are very comfortable. My wife and I slept well. Tv set picture quality needs improvement, as well as their ironing board that kept falling down when in use. The rest of the room amenities were very good. Staff ok! However, what keeps my rating from five stars The parking lot needs to be expanded for evening arrivals, had to park on the street behind the hotel. And as previously mention, Tv quality and ironing board. Over all we enjoyed our one day stay. Thanks Customer.
