The rooms are nice and clean. However, if you have room that face the street, it is very noisy starting at 5:30am. It well insulated if you sleep with the windows closed. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff.

Phenomenal. Incredible architecturally significant property with top-quality gourmet restaurant offering mind blowing tasting menu. Staff is absolutely the best it can be. Best service and food there is. Must see and experience to believe.

The breakfast was amazing!

This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

It was a wonderful place to stay. Great breakfast and comfortable room. Very close to historic village of Orta

Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. Where else on earth would be nicer than this? The views from our balcony of the lake and mountains were breathtaking. It is very meticulously kept up - did I say elegant - and spotless too. In the gorgeous lobby and bar areas we never saw how they did this - cleaning fairies in the middle of the...

Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. One day a guest's 1960 Ferrari parked out the back with the top down - just like that ! One night tango dancing on the hotel...

My wife and I first visited Grand Hotel Dino several years ago on a tour, and the beautiful images remained with us. We decided to return this July and it was everything we remembered and much more. The hotel is spectacular and the scenery is as well. Hopefully on our next trip up north we will bring our entire family including our grandchildren. We know that they, too, will just love it.

Great location in a beautiful town Super helpful and friendly staff Highly recommended

I based my booking on the free airport shuttle. The hotel exceeded my expectations! We arrived by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station. There's a short section walking along a busy road (no sidewalk, but a trail), but an easy walk. The hotel room was basic and clean. Comfotable bed, spacious bathroom, some rooms have balconies. There is an elevator. The staff is fabulous! I thought they really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We booked dinner...

Great location spacious room and very friendly staff.
