"Do not go to this hotel!!! I booked 2 rooms for two nights to attend a funeral. I barely slept because people above me was smoking and each time the person next door flushed the toilet or turned on faucet… I heard it. Dirty rooms to include the lobby chairs. The garbage overflowing… The day before my arrival, called La Quinta to assure my phone check in was updated. I spoke to Mike who mistook me for another guest and thought I hadn’t paid for the room. He realized the mistake, apologized and said I have 2 rooms and they are paid for. Two minutes later he texted my phone and said I only paid for one! Mike was very disrespectful. I told the front desk and the woman apologized. She said she read the messages and Mike should have never spoken to me that way. Mike apologized day two and I really felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth and it was worse feeling. All in all, don’t book La Quinta in York, PA. One room had stains on the wall, and dirty sheets. I told front desk. A man came to room complaining that the room was clean, yet he wiped the bed headboards. The phone in the room I stayed in did not work. I had beg to get a phone and issue wasn’t resolved until the day I checked out. The water in bathtub had a clog, so it left a dirty ring afterwards. I returned to my room to see a ring of dried water and hair on floor. This let me know housekeeping changed bed sheets, but didn’t clean bathroom. Again, I went to front desk. My room was filthy and finally changed. "

"I have stayed in the Double Tree Resort on other occasions, usually during a conference. This is a terrific place to rest and reflect. Situated throughout the Lobby area are many places to rest or work, particularly in the large series of desks with outlets. The internet was reliable, and I was able to complete remote work without any issues. "

"Very clean room but it was next to a parking lot where the dumpster was located. Trash pickup occurred at 4:00 am right outside our window. Breakfast was nice. Easy, convenient parking and a variety of shopping and restaurants a short drive from the hotel at The Crossings."

"This property was okay. Communication was poor. I had a previous reservation made in January. The resort called me the Wednesday before my reservation to cancel due to water pipe issues. But for some reason, I was able to reserve again 3 days later. I requested early check out, got to the resort an hour before check in and was told my room wasn’t available. Received a message 45 min after tried to check in that stating early check in was available. Checked in after 9:30 PM, was told I could request late check out up to 2 hrs. I requested late check out and was told I could only get a 30 min extension. Again, communication is poor and continuity doesn’t exist. My room was fine but I wouldn’t choose this location for any future travel to Lancaster. "
