"I recently stayed at The Leela Palace Chennai, and while we faced several challenges during our stay, I would especially like to appreciate Duty Manager Arghya Sarkar. We had issues with the room, AC, and food service, which left us quite disappointed initially. However, when we met Mr. Arghya Sarkar, everything changed in terms of how we felt as guests. He was extremely polite, patient, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to listen carefully to our concerns without interruption and handled the situation with professionalism and empathy. In hospitality, problems can happen — but what truly matters is how they are handled. Mr. Sarkar’s calm demeanor, respectful communication, and sincere effort to make things right made a real difference to us. Because of people like him, we would still consider coming back to The Leela. Thank you, sir, for restoring our faith and for showing what true hospitality looks like🙏"

"We booked a King bed for 3 nights. After a long day of travelling we arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm. We called the hotel a few hours earlier (around 7pm) to inform them that we are still coming and to confirm our reservation - they acknowledged. Once we arrived at our hotel the duty manager Amandeep Singh said the room is still no ready and to wait 20/25min for the room to be cleaned. That is completely unacceptable. The Front Office Manager Tamana Kaundal then advised that they can put us in a 2-bed bedroom instead and move us the next day - which would be a huge inconvenience as we had a busy day scheduled and would not want to repack our belongings to move to another room. Service was horrible and rooms were out dated. I will not be returning and would not advise anyone else to stay here either."
