"Imposing Manor House set within extensive open parkland at the edge of the village. Large bedroom with modern en-suite and smart new linen. Graceful sun-terrace and well stocked library. Lovely Swimming Pool exclusive to residents. Chateau de Villars is nonetheless an upmarket Bed&Breakfast (Chambre d'Hotes); no catering apart from continental style breakfast and should not be marketed on a par with a similarly priced Hotel which would normally come with some level of all day service. "Very exciting staying in a real old chateau, but with the facilities of a very thoughtful full restoration with modern comforts such as a/c, floor heating and huge and beautiful private bathrooms. The site is also very pretty, a large estate well landscaped. Last but not least, Jennifer was a great hostess."
