We stayed in the suites, very comfy. Overlooked the golf course. And the pool area was first rate with large hot tub, cold plunge pool and sauna. My grandsons loved. Penticton is close to beaches, good restaurants and lots of kids activities. Great!

My husband, 7 year old daughter & I loved this hotel so much! The pool was large so there was lots of space to spread out. We loved that Local Eatery was located right inside the hotel property so we always had a place to sit down & grab a bite when we were hungry. There are also lots of quick grab & go places across the street, which was helpful when we didn't feel like eating at a restaurant. The room was so lovely! Very clean & the AC was quiet, which I always appreciate. The fridge was larger than a standard hotel mini fridge so I was able to stock it full of groceries. There's also a good size minibar sink & pantry so don't forget your basic kitchen supplies! Helps cut down on eating out. The staff are so friendly and they were always smiling & welcoming whenever we popped into the lobby to grab a drink! We can't wait to make this spot part of our yearly family trip to Penticton.

If you aren't traveling with kids I would recommend the "tower" rooms, we stayed in the King with mini fridge/keurig in the tower, our room was a decent size, with deck that over looked the golf course. Bed was a bit firm but everything else was good, fresh towels after 2 nights. Pool was nice to have but quite busy.

Recommend for family vacation. Con: when hotel booked pool becomes very crowded, requires a second pool. Opportunities for hotel to open the bar up for refreshments for children ex: slushy machine, and have alcoholic or non alcoholic cocktails for adults, and have a small menu for food and have waiters/ waitresses serving your guests around the pool.” I believe this hotel could generate a lot of revenue from this.”!!!! Presently the attached restaurant is not part of Ramada franchise. You have to phone and order drinks and food from restaurant, which there staff deliver to you.. this is where the Balcomo Ramada is Loosing REVENUE!!!! Guests would appreciate room service where they could order a breakfast and have it on their outdoor individual patio area. Balcomo Ramada should look too how all inclusive resorts run their business and adapt some of their practices. Definitely would payback $$ the location is close to 2 local beautiful beaches. The rooms were clean, housekeeping is amazing. Parking for hotel is secure with gates you use your hotel card to enter . Grounds are beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. Front reception staff are friendly and helpful.

We love the resort feeling!!! Poolside service lots of lounge chairs and tables…. Really enjoyed our stay!!!

The shower was so tiny! I am 5'4' 103 lbs and barely fit in the shower!!! I felt like I was back in Europe. Other than that, it was a nice room as we had the kitchenette. Our view was not good. The pool was nice.

Nice stay at the Balcomo, room was pretty standard, staff were very helpful and friendly, pool was very nice, parking was a bit tricky, area was nice - walkable to restaurants and beach but a little bit of a hike. Overall I would stay again when in the area

I love this property and stay every summer. The property is undergoing fairly extensive renovations to the outdoor areas which is in my opinion why families in general come to stay. I was placed in an unrenovated room with zero access to the grass space which really would have defeated the purpose of the trip. I was met with staff that weren’t initially understanding when I asked to be moved but eventually they found us a space on the inside of the property and all turned out well. If you are going be ware that grass is just being replaced, the hot tub area is completely renovated but not open yet and one entire area of the hotel smells of manure. All in all it was a great trip and stay but we were only told the hot tub wasn’t working yet and not about all of the other work etc. More honesty up front would have kept our expectations where they should have been vs feeling really let down and frustrated upon arrival. Thankfully they moved us into a great space, we made new friends and had a wonderful trip.
