Great place to stay!

It was a pleasant surprise. Nice quiet location, green lawn and gazebo with a BBQ. Comfortable, quiet, clean room. We had a dog who enjoyed the nice lawn with poop bags. Would stay here again.

Abandoned car in the parking lot should have been our first clue. Check-in was fine. Staff were friendly. No coffee in the room. Room was reasonably clean, however the chair had a bullet hole in it. Luckily, we were just passing through town and only had to stay for 8 hours before moving on.

People who work on the railroad stay here between shifts. It would be great if the hotel admitted this in case you need help with your room while they're transferring the railroad people to and from the hotel. Besides that communication issue, iv thought it was clean and quiet.

I was surprised by the high ratings after my stay. Front desk staff were polite, though not particularly friendly. I appreciated that my privacy was respected at check-in. Unfortunately, the room was not clean—there was a dirty cleaning rag left on the stovetop, a dried spill on the tile floor, a big glob of something sticky on the desk, dust on lamps, desk and nightstands, and crumbs and cobwebs in the bathroom. The TV had only one working channel. We went to our event and returned, change and left the same night. For the price - and with no breakfast - I expected a far better experience. It felt like I stayed at a completely different hotel than what the other Expedia reviewers described.

We rented 2 separate rooms. Both were very clean. Our rooms were very close to the back entrance/exit to the hotel which guests (Union Pacific RR workers?) started exiting thru at 5:00 a.m. so very noisy from that point on. Entrance lobby is very shabby, torn upholstery on chairs etc. Coffee was available on the first morning but not on the second. Location was very convenient and room rates were very reasonable. We would likely stay there again but away from the back entrance/exit. Front desk hostess was very personable and friendly.

Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, shower was good. The room was shabby, carpet was in need of replacement, creased and a hole. Corridors and reception were dull and not welcoming. Shocking value for money as we paid an exorbitant rip off rate during Pendleton round up. No effort made by the hotel to justify the massively inflated price during the round up. No shuttle service or even tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Disgraceful exploitation. No way would we stay here other than the round up. This is the reason why a lot of consumers dislike chain hotels so much. Money grabbing exploitation taken to the extreme. But they will not be embarrassed, nor will the fact that we will never use the chain again matter one iota to them. Shameful

Stay was acceptable and comfortable. No coffee in room, had to ask for a coffee pot and coffee I guess. We used our own instant coffee. Coffee pot in lobby was empty, no one making any fresh. Bathroom sink stopper was not working. Had to manually close stopper then open again with a sharp object that could get under the lip to reopen. Back/side door still not operating properly. Was the same way a year ago when we were at this property. King bed was very comfortable. Shower was roomy with bowed shower curtain rod and larger shower enclosure than standard. Shower head was nice and sprayed well. Bring your own bar of soap. Soap bar supplied in about 1" by 1/2". Room was large and roomy. We had a kitchenette (although no longer stocked with any dishes or anything else), and a full-size frig. Will stay again at this property.
