「Breakfast is good」

「The location of the hotel was ideal. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but could do with sprucing up and updating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower over the bath was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. ...

「Very well-situated in centre of town, with shops and restaurants on doorstep. Room unpretentious but everything worked as it should. Bed very comfortable. The pub downstairs was friendly and good to sit in at the end of evening.」

「Cannot fault cleanliness or willingness to help when things go wrong. (Eg my room became cold when the radiator turned out to have been turned off, the TV had some problems....) I would not recommend this as a place for tourists to stay unless you know the area well; no helpful leaftets around to guide you, staff too busy or not always there to answer questions. Excellent breakfast; only had one evening meal which would describe as typical pub fare. They 'upgraded' me to a room with a bath...
