"A peaceful beachfront all-inclusive resort We had a very enjoyable week at Ella Alkyna and would happily stay again. It is one of the few European resorts combining adults-only, all-inclusive and a beachfront location. The atmosphere was relaxed and not a party scene. Most guests were couples and mature adults who kept to themselves but were friendly. The resort is beautiful, with a clean beach, great pools and lovely views. Our clean room had a sunset-view balcony, large comfortable bed, spacious shower, Netflix-enabled TV and kettle. The buffet had plenty of choice, while the included à la carte restaurants were a highlight. We enjoyed excellent three-course Greek and Italian meals. Breakfast became slightly repetitive, but that is normal for a buffet stay. Drinks were unlimited, and the friendly staff happily made whatever we requested. My wife loved her spa treatment. The gym was small but quiet, and check-in and check-out were easy. Minor issues included a toilet smell and the air conditioning making a constant banging noise whenever it was on. The fire-alarm light was also very bright. We did not report these issues. Some guests reserved sunbeds with towels despite this not being allowed, and staff did not enforce the rule. There were also lots of social wasps around, which could be frightening for anyone with a wasp phobia. The large resort can be confusing and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility, although electric buggies are available. It is also"

"We spent two days there. Pros: nice staff, adequate breakfast with homemade bread & yogurt, cereals, fresh watermelon, and hard boiled eggs. Fresh juice, tea & instant coffee. The terrace is spacious and offers a phenomenal view of the ocean with a spectacular sunset. We had dinner there for our last night and it was wonderful. The prices are comparable to those around the area if not lower, but the food there is way better with most of it being homemade, including the drinks, which were very well done with a full bar. The cons: there’s only parking for maybe eight cars at the most. So if you don’t get a parking spot, you end up on the street, which is very risky. The drive there is a bit confusing and you better be a good driver because streets aren’t the greatest. Our room was very Spartan. The showers extremely small. They provide a stove, but there isn’t anything provided to cook on top of it. There was a refrigerator that was bigger than a mini, but one bottled water after a long trip would’ve been a nice touch and even paper cups would have sufficed, but there was nothing. Our balcony provided no view, except our neighbors to our left, which was a little invasive and I like my privacy. Facing forward was nothing but trees that blocked any view. They really need to keep up the grounds. Everything was overgrown and cleaning products we’re left out in abundance. The stairs to our room were not made for someone of an older age. Extremely narrow. With partial stairs."

"I was in Room 18. Absolutely gorgeous sea and mountain views. It was a challenge walking up the up he hill to begin with but even that seemed easier after a couple of days. Nice little pool to cool down in and pool bar was good for snacks and drinks."

"his was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed—and I travel a lot. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was absolutely unmatched. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for, and the outside balcony was so picturesque that it felt almost surreal. There was something incredibly peaceful and special about being there. The Taverna took care of our every need, and the communication from the entire staff was truly exceptional. Every detail was handled with warmth, genuine care, and attention. You could feel that hospitality here isn’t simply a service—it’s part of the culture and the heart of the place. And the food… absolutely delicious. Every meal felt fresh, authentic, and made with care. I have stayed in many beautiful places around the world, but this one stands apart. It wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was an experience I will remember. I left feeling genuinely cared for, relaxed, and incredibly grateful that I found this special place.
