"Clean room plenty of parking "

"We didn’t expect the Hilton Hotel standards, but we did expect a level of cleanliness. When we arrived unfortunately we found dead insects and ants raiding, an awful smell in the bathroom, the bedding was clean but the doona should have been replaced. The bathroom had mouldy grouting and mouldy bath mat. The kitchen was dusty on top of the cabinets, and the fan looks like it wasn’t ever dusted. We also weren’t able to use any of the curtains properly because they were broken and the front door would open in heavy wind. The overall feel was not the best experience. I wouldn’t mind the general state if it was much cleaner."

"My hotel room did not have view of the harbor, it was small, clean. The mattress was very hard, did not find it very comfortable. Reasonable enough for price and duration of my stay. The digital key I was given to enter the premises after 10pm, did not work when I arrived back in early hour of dawn, had to call management to have them open the door for me so I could get into my room. (Had to wait more than 15 minutes in the cold outside while I waited) Thankfully they answered and opened, but they should make sure these work at all hours to prevent this happening again."

"Disgusting and Unsafe – Do Not Stay Here! I have been traveling for 16 years, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I booked this motel in Wellington specifically because I needed a kitchen to cook for my 4-year-old, but the conditions were unacceptable. The Hygiene is Appalling: The couch is the filthiest, stinkiest piece of furniture I’ve ever seen. The carpet is covered in multi-colored stains. Worst of all, when I checked the beds, I found what looked like phlegm/mucus on one of the duvets and deep stains on the others. Lack of Privacy and Maintenance: The bathroom door does not close fully, leaving a gap that makes it impossible to have any privacy. The sliding door handles are broken, and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, meaning odors spread throughout the entire unit. Health and Safety Hazards: The motel provides plates with gold-rimmed designs that catch fire in the microwave—an incredibly dangerous oversight. To hide the room's real smell, they use an automatic air freshener that sprays so constantly it feels toxic and hard to breathe. Poor Comfort and Service: The bed was so bad that I am currently taking ibuprofen for the resulting back pain. There is no air conditioning, so you’ll be sweating in a cramped, uncomfortable bed.
