「I stay here all the time when in Bathurst. But unfortunately this time the single bed in room 3 was absolutely terrible. The mattress is soo old when you sit down on it you can feel and hear the coils. Its very uncomfortable. Its a very old style mattress and really really needs to be thrown out. My partner slept in the other bed and it was good. He has dementia so can't sleep with him.」

「Great 1 night stay. Wish we stayed longer. So relaxing looking out over the fields whilst sitting eating our dinner by the fire pit. Felt like you were miles from civilisation but you werent far from suburbia.」

「What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. 」

「Very quiet and enough room to move, with a sofa. The mini-kitchen was very handy. Large shower. Very central to shops. Easy parking. Comfortable beds. Very glad we chose the suite.」

「Clean room helpful staff Spa & Pool all very clean」

「Whilst the accommodation was well priced, the room was filthy. Thick dust on all room surfaces and the shower was full of mould along with the shower curtain. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable.」

「Extremely comfortable room. For value for money - Excellent and right in town. Aircon kept the room warm in a 0 degrees night and the bed was extremely comfortable. Panthers club next door and oxford hotel with a good steakhouse upstairs over the road. Well worth the money」

「Relied on public transport. Walkable from railway station. Close to fast food. Mcdonalds. Hungry jack. Red rooster. Kfc. Clean room.」

「We loved the pool. But unfortunately our cabin was very very basic. The tv was stuck on channel ten and reception couldn’t provide batteries so we could change channel. The bunk bed was in the toilet corridor. Not a great bed. Overall not the worst, just shabby and felt like it wasn’t quite worth $179 a night. 」

「We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it was lovely. Plenty of spare towels, too, which is always a plus. The managers were extremely friendly and helpful, both via texts and in person. NB: Parking was quite tight.Also, the electric blanket is broken in the middle room. 」

「Great parking and access」

「The room was clean and spacious. Cooking facilities adequate and check-in was really easy. It wasn’t as modern as the photos looked but it wasn’t bad just a bit dated. The air-conditioner was needed for heating but only blue cool air. We just turned it off we had had packed warm clothes so it turned out to be no problem. Outdoor sitting area was lovely. Although not right in the centre of town, it suited our needs as we were able to cook our own meal at night without the need to go out.」
