"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room. Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine. ."

"Nice townhouse about 15 min walk from the centre of Angouleme. Friendly, attentive owner with plenty advice on places to eat. Tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and private bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. Parking free on street outside the property. "

"Petit complexe rural à flanc de coteau dans une halte étable astucieusement restaurée (dans la pente). Accueil souriant, attentif et cordial. Calme, dépaysement et silence garantis en particulier avec la poutraison "cathédrale" mais aussi, dans cet été très chaud, rusticité avec mouches, moustiques, mites ce qui me parait tout à fait normal. Une bonde dans le lavabo et une porte à clef seraient bienvenues. "
