「This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.」

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 「Domaine très calme au cœur de la campagne. Accueil très chaleureux. Maison construite avec des matériaux anciens, de très bon goût. Chambre avec frigo et possibilité de profiter d'une kitchenette commune. Belle piscine avec environnement top」

「Tout a été parfait avec nos charmants hôtes. Malheureusement, c'est avec Expedia que j'ai des doléances. L'appartement qui devait nous être alloué n'était pas disponible dû à des rénovations. Expedia ne nous en a pas informé. Heureusement, nous avons pu joindre les hôtes qui nous ont dépanné avec un autre appartement. 」
