"Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge is truly a special place. The cabins sit along the edge of the cloud forest, with sweeping views that bring nature right to your rooms, making everything feel alive and immersive. The hiking trails are rigorous yet rewarding, beautiful, quiet, and perfect for spotting rare birds and wildlife you don’t often see elsewhere. By day, the scenery is lush and vibrant; at night, the peaceful darkness settles in and feels wonderfully remote. If there’s one opportunity to improve, it would be the dinner service in the restaurant - on certain evenings, the wait can be quite long, though the food itself is excellent once it arrives. Overall, a memorable blend of comfort, serenity, and unforgettable nature."

"La Cusinga is such a special place. It’s everything I hoped it would be in an eco lodge. The grounds are amazing. The swimming hole was fantastic. The hikes you can do on the property, especially down to Playa Arco were spectacular. The hike down to Playa Arco at low tide and the swimming hole were the highlight of the stay. The pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a hike. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Veronica at check in and check out and Michael and Ever at the restaurant gave us exceptional service. The rooms are rustic in an eco lodge way, beautifully constructed and in harmony with nature. We saw birds and agoutis right from our balcony. Although there is no a/c we found the room to be perfectly comfortable with the fan and it wasn’t hot at night. The included breakfast was exceptional, we were always greeted with a fresh juice of the day and then a plate of fruit, and breakfast is made to order. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights. The tomahawk pork chop was delicious. Overall we loved our stay and were very happy to have chosen this special place. "

"Absolute treat! It was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Watching the rainstorm from the comfort of my bed gave my jetlagged night a whole new definition. Loved it. And the spa was truly delightful...and I hardly use that word to describe things. :)"

"Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. We had an indoor AND outdoor shower, and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It’s genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant staff were also so kind and patient considering we’re a group of girls who are fairly new to speaking Spanish, and they always met us halfway (or more) with communication! The food and drinks were always amazing. They gave me a bag of dry rice when my phone got soaked at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, and I was so grateful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and did not need anything. I definitely hope to return one day and stay for much longer. Two days was not enough. Tiki Villas has definitely been solidified as one of my best experiences in Costa Rica, and I genuinely don’t know how anywhere else I go will be able to top this place!"
