Great location for what I was doing. Staff are friendly. Property is dated but pretty clean. Comfortable bed. Has a bathtub which is great. Can get a little noisy. I've stayed here before and will again. Thanks

Time for maintenance, ordinary at the moment.
Ordinary standard at best... Sorry but its the truth. Location is great but up keep is lacking. Time for some maintenance management. Shower door missing, roof needs attention to hide the mold.

Pool was wonderful , breakfast great, and all of staff helpful and friendly.. Awesome location.. I traveled all over Cambodia and Thailand for two months and this was the Ritz or Trump Towers of my journey.. Very nice elegant hotl for a very good price..

There were two (2) negative issues: 1) The telephone in the guest room wasn't working. The staff noted this and attempted to rectify - but were unsuccessful. They offered to upgrade me to another (Larger) room FOC. 2) The Swimming Pool was undergoing maintenance from the date of my check in until two days prior to check out. Again, the staff apologised and offered the use of the Swimming Pool and facilities at their sister Hotel (Diamond Beach Hotel) FOC The efforts of Management and Staff to address these two (2) small issues was commendable - communicating possible solutions and advising on all effort being made in a polite, courteous and friendly manner. Again, they could not have done more to assist - I am extremely impressed by the whole Team.

The Diamond City Place has an easy access (on a main road) location in South Pattaya. Road noise is not an issue - as the property has rear-facing rooms. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, with excellent facilities (large ensuite bathroom, cable tv, small balcony, good-size fridge and in-room mini safe). Housekeeping staff are helpful, friendly, polite and courteous and available from 7am until 4pm daily. Adjacent to the main building, the Coffee Shop - although small, is clean and well-staffed; offering a wide selection of Thai, Indian and European menus. Coffee Shop staff are very attentive, polite and efficient. Breakfast service is from 7am until 11am. A-la-cart service is available all day until 7pm with Room Service available with a +10% Service Charge. Reception Staff are available from 7am until Midnight (Room Key-fob security access to the building is available outwith these hours). Again, Reception Staff are friendly, polite, helpful and always eager to assist. The Swimming Pool, although small, is located on the 2nd Floor and is very well maintained. The only negative points found were: No assistance available for luggage transfer at Check-in/Check-out. No Electric Shaver outlet in the bathroom. No Kettle or Hair Dryer in the room - however, these two items were available for rent from the Reception Desk.

For a reasonably cheap hotel it was fine. Very clean and quiet, within easy reach of Walking St, beach, bars.

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel Very clean, quiet,comfortable room. Nothing too much trouble for the staff to do. All very polite , cheerful and professional.. I have previously stayed at this hotel before and will return in the future. Hotel advertises a swimming pool, however this is very small.

Great place!
We loved our stay in this hotel. It is far enough away from the noise to get a good nights sleep, though not so far that you miss any action. We loved the breakfast options, it is worth adding onto your reservation! My only suggestion would be that they might treat the room for ants, which were in our bathroom each day. But over all we would definitely stay again!

It's noisy
My room is on the 2nd floor near the swimming pool facing 3rd road, so I can hear vibration from buses and kids' screaming from the pool. The toilet has a vent, so I can hear people using the toilet next door. The hotel is old. Wifi is too weak for streaming.

OK. Wish was more space to hang towels and other things on the wall or door. Need to get rid of the very tiny ants on bathroom counter, walls, bathtub, and ceiling. No kettle to boil water. No hand towel and face cloth. No body wash. Couldn't tell if the little packet was shampoo as it is written in Thai only. No body lotion, facial tissues. Not enough toilet paper as no backup was supplied. A lot of noise coming out from the vents in bathroom. If I could understand the language next door, I would be able to hear everything clearly.

Room condition was generally good except the blankets looked not so clean. Balcony sliding glass door cannot be locked. Wifi connectivity was poor at 5mbps most of the time. Average hotel considering the low room rate.

Staff were friendly and helpful even with a language barrier. Breakfasts in their cafe were yummy. Planning on booking here for my next trip. The pool isn't big but it was very clean. Nice big room. Wi-Fi was excellent. Daily room service
