We arrived at 9 AM and were expecting to checkin at least a little bit early. The front desk was not at all accommodating and was firm with the 2 PM strict checkin. We has to launder around here and there and the fact that we could not freshen up after a long flight made this entire experience frustrating. We tried our luck to checkin again around 1 PM. She was again firm that we had to wait until 2 PM. Apart from this experience, rest of the stay was fine. The hotel is located very close to the beach and bangla road.

Room is spacious and clean, excellent customer services, fast wifi, quiet working A/c. Central location with excellent food opposite the hotel and a reliable, trust worthy, reasonable price pink tuktuk (no A464 Mr Khu) parks around the corner

The hotel's play area is great for families with small children. Location makes it really comfortable to sample all Phuket has to offer without walking to far. The biggest disappointment was no breakfast.

Loved staying here! It’s in a terrific location, only about a 1.5 minute walk to the beach and the street it’s on was one of the most peaceful in Patong. The rooms and common areas are all cute and very clean but the true stars of the show are the staff. They were all kind and helpful and very professional and went above and beyond after the airline lost my wife’s bag. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this hotel very much. - Staffs were friendly - small playground for children & a big blue slide from level two to reception area. - 5-10mins walk to beach. - Mini mart jusT 2mins away - food stall just opp hotel - spacious room with full toiletries - Free beach towel (return after use) Overall: really satisfied with everything. Will definitely recommend to those with children.

This is my second stay with Kokotel , the first in Chingmai n now in Phuket. I booked a quadruple room with 4 single beds. The room is very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is standard .The hotel locate near Patong beach but about 15 to 20 mins walk to Junclyon shopping mall. I like the family room that feel cost to stay together.

Kokotel - good for the proce
Its a descent cheap hotel in a great location! Great breakfast and comfortable bed. The pool is a small one, and the shower can use certain.

Location was superb, just a stonethrow away from Patong beach and all the amenities, massage parlors, restaurants and pharmacies. We booked 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 triple, the double room was fine but the triple room was really bad- funny layout, noisy airconds, hooks and showerhead’s height made for 6 footers. When asked for a change, was told that all other triple rooms were in another building nearby with no escalators. As we prefer to be close to our friends, we didnt take that option. When pressed for other options, we were offered to upgrade to a quadruple room for a top up fee :( In the end we opted for a 4 bed dorm type room but we later found to be dusty and AC not cooling.

Felt like a bait and switch. This property is more a hostel/motel than a hotel. The reception area is made to look contemporary but the room itself was so abysmal. There was no desk and balcony as advertised, the bathroom was just cubicles, it felt like an outhouse. The shower walls had some dried soap crusted on the walls and constantly smells of sewage. The floors were cement and not tiles as shown in the picture and although the sheets were clean, they felt musty. While having breakfast, at least five cockroaches was roaming around the cafe area. We live on the 5th floor but the elevator only reaches 4th floor. We then had to lug our luggages by ourselves. Any amenities has to be requested from the reception, which is not manned at all times. I was handed an opened toothbrush set and there was some tooth paste residue inside the pack and I returned it. The staff spoke among themselves that it seemed OK and the toothbrush was not used, they smell-tested it. If it is opened, IT IS NOT SANITARY. I do not want to smell it. My room and the reception also constantly had sewage smell. On my last night, there was no water. There was no warning, and I was told to shower in the lobby. Overall, I would have been happy with this place if it was cheaper as with what I paid for I could get an actual hotel. The location is actually very very good and the staff is actually very very nice. It's the hotel itself that I find unacceptable. I would come back if the price was cheaper.

5mins walking distance to the beach which is pretty awesome. Room is spacious as we are travelling in a group of 3 for our accomodations. The front desk is friendly and approachable.
