Asteria is a lovely, authentic slice of Greek life just off the marina but up a hill in a neighborhood, with rooms over looking the seas with beautiful views.

Staff is very friendly, rooms and property are very clean. Great value. Very cozy property. AC worked great. Wonderful view of the water from our balcony. Only thing I thought could use some upgrading is the shower curtain.

Asteri hotel is a welcoming family-run hotel which is located 10-15 on foot from the centre of Scala. The owners are there to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home. The room was spacious and the balcony had a spectacular view towards Chita and the castle. The garden looked like a small paradise. The hotel was clean and well maintained although the room could be renovated to include more modern amenities. They gave us free breakfast which was so kind of them, however there were not many options, especially for vegan travellers like me. Overall it was a great stay and I’d be happy to return!
