We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. We extended our stay for an additional night so that we could cycle around Lake Trasimeno. Silvia was wonderful to suggest parking areas in the nearby towns for visiting the sites & was helpful in booking a hotel for us as we continued our travels in Italy. I highly recommend Hotel La Vela & we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Umbria.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge rund um den Trasimeno See. Das Zimmer war etwas klein. Die supernette Bedienung beim Frühstück macht ihren Job mit Freude. Eine erfreuliche Ausnahme, oft wird man nur gleichgültig abgefertigt.

Ritornati dopo tanti anni quando ancora c’erano i genitori dell’attuale titolare e lei era una bambina. Gentilissimi, cordiali, ambiente famigliare, ma soprattutto ottima ristorazione, la cena nel loro ristorante è stata davvero ottima, impianta me te molto bello e qualità eccellente. Il rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Un soggiorno breve che ha lmi ha asciato la voglia di tornarci.

Buon vento in Vela

Hotel complessivamente molto buono con personale, sia hotel che ristorante annesso, molto accogliente e attento al cliente. Camere pulite e personale di piano attento e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Ottimo e piacevole soggiorno con buona colazione, grazie anche all'accoglienza in sala.

Siamo ritornati all'hotel dopo l'esperienza dell'anno scorso, e anche quest'anno siamo stati soddisfatti in tutto! Comodo il ristorante annesso , una buona cucina per queste sere d'estate! Molto attenti alla sanificazione in questo periodo di covid. Un grazie sincero per l'ospitalità!

Boat to islands. Our interest was in Isola Maggiore. Hotel within walking distance of peer. Also beautiful, ancient town. I would recommend this hotel.
