Parson Vacations

"We knew this would be a no- frills place with a shared washroom and communal kitchen. However, I did expect to have a reasonably warm shower and electricity. We had neither. They only put on the generator intermittently (are we in a war zone?). Nice young girl greets us, but otherwise no staff seen. She mostly seems to sit on the porch on her phone. Place feels abandoned. So to be fair- pros: beautiful setting, close to Yo-Ho, cool old building, with LOTS of potential, bed reasonably...

"Very nice propoerty, did not have much time to enjoy the beatiful views from the property due to our schedule and 1 nignt stay. Getting to the location after sunset can be a challenge, especially if there are repairs planned for approach bridge."

"The room was fairly clean but it was very dark (minimal lighting) and run down. The pool was not open, which was disappointing, but the hot tub was. We didn't use it because it was a hot summer night. It was quiet. Overpriced for what it is but considering the region and prices in the area, it's worth it. Staff were friendly."

"We stayed here overnight while traveling and enjoyed our cool, quiet room. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, recommending a nice riverfront restaurant for a late dinner and explaining all the hotel’s amenities. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again if we get an opportunity."
