"I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The room smelled and when the a/c turned on it made the room smell worse. The door lock did not lock all the way. The beds were very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs! Sheets had a stain. The bathroom floor vent was dirty and rusty. The building is going under renovations but not for the better. The indoor pool was cold and the floor and pool area dirty and too much chlorine. The dining area was ok but the booths were very tight and the breakfast was not the best. Bruised bananas and that's it for fruit. Oatmeal in a bag. Terrible just Terrible!! This chain should be ashamed. We paid $300.00 CND. Never again."

"The room was a pleasant surprise. It had a big jet tub that was awesome to soak in. There was no resturant but they offered breakfast with eggs and toast. Coffee and juices. (This area they could definitely upgrade a bit) and the worker paced bavk and forth like a caged animal. Felt very uncomfortable. Nothing was refreshed in the time we sat in the designated room."

"after reading some of the reviews I'm VERY pleased to say I was very happy with my stay. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, I was able to park right outside my room and the check-in lady was very welcoming. I had forgotten to ask for a ground floor room. When I called the motel in the morning to request one, I reached an answering machine. In less than 30 minutes I received a call back advising a ground floor room would be waiting for me. I would definitely stay here again on my way through Golden and will be recommending it to our friends and family."
